This new Minneapolis Metro Transit garage is a 400,000 square foot, two-level bus maintenance, and storage facility. Located on 10 acres in the North Loop of downtown Minneapolis, this facility will store up to 216 buses as well as 24 maintenance bays. Built for sustainability, this building will be energy-efficient, capable of reusing rain water collections, feature a solar thermal wall and rooftop array as well as be electric bus compatible and ready.
